Latest news on Mark & Joe’s Progress as they follow the 70 mile pilgrim’s way to Santiago.
After catching the train to Portsmouth Mark took the overnight ferry to northern Spain and spent the first night in Ferrol. He had arranged to meet his son Joe there the following day before setting off on their first day’s walking. There was a short period of panic when Joe’s flight was delayed due to the recent air traffic control problems at Heathrow! However despite Joe arriving a little later than planned they still managed to complete their first day two day’s to Mino. They found the hot sunshine a little taxing on the ascents but enjoyed the walking the forest trails. All things considered they are making good progess.
